Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to expand ARBAS, an action-resource language to support and document argumentation and organizational memory in a negotiation context. In particular, it proposes an Entity-Relation model for negotiation and organizational memory that links the key elements of the negotiation problem (i. e., problem, actor, proposition, argument to their respective organizational factors (e.g., organizational objectives, goals, evaluation criteria, feedback, and protocols), and makes them available in a repository as an Organizational Memory Information System (OMIS) for negotiators. A prototype has been implemented using a Windows based object-oriented language to demonstrate the feasibility and capabilities of ARBAS '96.
