IPv6 Test-Bed Networks and R and D in China

Abstract
IP network in China is booming, legacy internet protocol — IPv4 can’t support the long term development of network in China. Some Chinese universities, pioneering companies and carriers are more and more realizing the importance of IPv6 and they began to build trial networks, develop IPv6 equipments and applications, research key NGI technologies. The paper will elaborate all the major IPv6 networks in China, and some universities’ IPv6 R&D, a few large international and government-sponsored IPv6 projects. Finally, I will list several IPv6-enabled products in China.
