Abstract
A 1D wavelet-based registration technique was applied to Drosophila segmentation gene expression data. As a method for extracting the ground control points, we apply the Fast Redundant Dyadic Wavelet Transform with a continuous basis. This transform was chosen for its basic properties, such as noise reduction and good localization of characteristic features.
