Abstract
Although there is abundant information in the electroencephalogram (EEG), it's hard to analyze and extract it. To solve this problem, phase synchronization theory is researched and used to analyze hypoxia EEG in this paper. A spatial filter method is used to preprocess hypoxia EEG. Phase locking value (PLV) is used to evaluate the extent of phase synchronism among hypoxia EEG. Analysis results show that there is linear relationship between hypoxia extent and phase synchronization extent. Otherwise, phase synchronization among different brain zones varies differently with hypoxia extent.
